Marketing

"The Ascent of Society 282".  This is a very good summary, from a Russian perspective.

"FLASHBACK – Cloudflare Refused to Ban ISIS Sites: ‘It’s Not Right For Us’ to Censor, We Don’t Tolerate ‘Mob Rule’".

"Moran: Did Google, GoDaddy, and CloudFlare Violate Net Neutrality?"  That's the point.  They want to establish the principle that they can make these decisions based on fighting 'Evil' (a free service they provide out of the goodness of their hearts), then they can go on to make money by charging you for the privilege of viewing a curated internet.  Hell, if you pay extra they may even let you see Evil.

"Google Folds, Restores Accounts Of Banned Statistics Professor".  Note the unsubstantiated but disturbing comment by sleigher on Protonmail.  We still don't know what particular thoughtcrime 'triggered' the Google attempt at censorship.

"Distortions & Missing The Point (feat. The Washington Post, The Hill, Sam Biddle & Matt Tait)" (Adam Carter).  I think these efforts have already worked, hence the quiet sliding away from Russiagate and the need for the conspiratorial setting up of Trump as a 'Nazi', the new line of attack.  Forensicator has built a consistent explanation that involves more than download speeds.  Of course, the elephant in the room is that the real data required to finish the analysis is unavailable because the FBI is peculiarly - one might say, criminally - protective of the DNC ("Jill McCabe, Andrew McCabe’s Wife: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know").  There is also muttering about possible Trump corruption involving Jewish/Israeli - but always described as Russian, though he has spent most of his life in the United States - stock fraud felon and FBI informant Felix Sater.

"Utilities Knew: Documenting Electric Utilities’ Early Knowledge and Ongoing Deception on Climate Change From 1968-2017".  Like smoking, car safety (Nader, Pinto), glyphosate, a lot of pharmaceutical safety (faulty or crooked medical testing), etc.

Monetizing environmentalism using climate change reduction as the hook:  "AVAAZ: The Pygmalion Virus in Three Acts – Act Two".  They get us coming and going.  AVAAZ, of course, is a Soros organ and is deep into propaganda promoting of all the bad things under a generally 'progressive' façade.

Outside The Narrative:  "Judah P. Benjamin: The Gay Jewish Confederate Leader Without a Statue to Tear Down" (Sailer) and "Statue of Judaic Confederate slave owner stands untouched in Florida" (Hoffman).  Also: "Houston Rich Kid Arrested for Trying to Blow Up Statue" (Sailer).

"“We Burned Down Every Town in North Korea”".  "US pushes ahead with provocative war games in South Korea".  Who is being 'provocative'?  I note that the United States is finally starting to pay the price for bad and evil decisions made fifty or sixty years ago, the whole line of American Exceptionalist thinking that immediately followed the end of WWII.

The other striking thing is that the United States can never be trusted, and people are finally starting to notice:  "The U.S. Can Not Be Trusted - Case XXXIV: Trump Cheats On China Sanction Deal".

"Venezuela: West's Battle Against Multipolarism Reaches Far".  Venezuela is a symbol that there might just be another way.

"The generals rolled him, as they rolled Obama ...".  Comment by bks:
"It's the same speech HRC would have given, except she would have given it six months earlier."
So, Trump + time - Bannon = Killary.

"We Asked an Expert Why America's Naval Vessels Keep Crashing".  Unstated, of course, is that the entire navy is a white elephant, incomprehensibly expensive but bypassed by technology and politics.

"Calgary airport to return accessible parking spots after botched marketing campaign".  First rule of modern marketing - don't mess with the gimps!

Shut them down

"Just think of all the recent terror incidents, from 9/11, Orlando, Charlie Hebdo to Nice, where all the accused are conveniently killed, leaving the official narrative unchallenged in a court of law."  (Dinh).   Chossudovsky's piece, which stated "None of these terror suspects survived. Dead men do not talk.", has been updated to assassination of the remaining loose end (but I note there are some other suspects in custody):
"All the suspects have been killed. No testimony, no controversy, the suspects are terrorists. As in previous terror attacks in Western Europe, almost without exception, all the suspects are shot dead by police."
Access to The Daily Stormer is still iffy as the .lol experiment seems to have ended with pressure placed on Namecheap, but for now I can access links without using Tor (added:  now you do have to use Tor!).  "List of Pedophile Sites Hosted by Companies That Banned Daily Stormer (Abridged)".  "David French is Less of a Pussy Than Stefan Molyneux".  I can't find the infamous 'hate the player, not the game' post which seems to have been the excuse for the big corporate conspiracy to shut it down.

"Fear the rise of info-monopolies over America".  "One Statistics Professor Was Just Banned By Google: Here Is His Story".  Comment by Col_Sanders:
"The problem - for everyone trying to set up their own servers - is that at some point, someone *has* to host *something* of yours.

Your IP space, DNS, BGP, the actual pipe that carries the last mile of your traffic....

Any one of these is sufficient as a control over you and what you say or do online.

If they don't want your server online, they can simply tell ARIN to erase your authortative DNS records from your IP space.  They can tell the authoritative DNS servers in the center to stop resolving your host names.  They can tell the routers in the center to stop forwarding traffic to your subnet.  Finally they can call your provider and tell them to cut off your access or pull the ethernet cable from your machine.

Despite what many believe the Internet - designed to be very decentralized and fault-tolderant - has become anything but."
He appears to have been reinstated after the issue was made public.  The nature of his thoughtcrime is unclear, but he writes about statistics, which is a triggering minefield.

Note the tweets here by Not Pax Dickinson regarding the police conspiracy in Charlottesville (which you won't read anywhere else, of course).  Not Pax Dickinson on Twitter - account suspended!

My personal warning to Icelanders

"An Odd Terrorism", and its exuberant comments.

"Siurana, Charlottesville and Barcelona" (Dinh):
"Within hours of the van attack, a 28-year-old Moroccan was fingered as the driver, since he had, miracle of miracles, supposedly left his Spanish passport in the van. Seeing his face in the news, Driss Oukabir immediately turned himself in in Ripoll, 67 miles from La Rambla. Oukabir said his passport had been stolen, so he had nothing to do with the attack.

The prime suspect, then, became Moussa, Driss’ brother, but the 17-year-old, along with four other Muslims, was killed by police just 8 ½ hours after the Barcelona incident. It’s claimed they were attempting another van attack in Cambrils, an hour and a half by car from Barcelona, but why were five “terrorists” packed into one van? The clusterfuck doesn’t make sense.

Just think of all the recent terror incidents, from 9/11, Orlando, Charlie Hebdo to Nice, where all the accused are conveniently killed, leaving the official narrative unchallenged in a court of law.

The more alert among us are catching on that there’s a series of false flags designed to sow divisions within society, increase support for more surveillance and policing and, often, intensify hatred of Muslims. All these goals benefit the American Israel Empire, of course, so until this collapses, all of us will continue to be run over. Preaching love, they sow hate relentlessly."

"Pro-Israel Lobby AIPAC’s Position on Charlottesville’s Neo-Nazi White Supremacist Rally".

"Debunking the Myth of “Free Speech”" (Smith).  I'm not surprised that the author is not enthusiastic about freedom of speech!

Ancient Cambodian temple architecture

"6 reasons why Chomsky is wrong about antifa".  The comments are good.

I thought the Boston optics - a mere handful of 'Nazis' protected by the police from a huge mob of thousands, some of them violent - should have been more troubling than celebrated.  It was essentially a mass demonstration by a mob of thousands of people protesting against freedom of speech.  The 'Nazis' were congratulating themselves over it, as well they should, as it is not often that a group that tiny are granted this much credibility.  Don't get me wrong - small, dignified, peaceful counter-protests are necessary to fly the decency flag, but this just feels like punching down, an assertion of power by the entitled 'smart' people that the deplorables are doomed.

I'll admit I didn't read the Soros NDA and got punked.  My error was not seeing Shadowproof as a new version of The Onion, and I won't make that mistake again (I guess there is a reason why I rarely find reason to link to Shadowproof, which seems to be always looking for money to support its valuable work, whatever that is).  Still, the point is that somebody is arranging for people to commit violent illegal acts (many crimes involved including racketeering and treason), and those insisting on proof of the arranging aren't arguing in good faith.  Short of a criminal investigation, which won't happen, there will be no proof.  We have sufficient models from other countries to know what a color revolution looks like.  The irony is that these post-Maidan color revolutions no longer work in other countries, as the locals are on to them, but Americans aren't so wise (yet).

"Trump’s firing of Bannon: The military asserts control".  The people who were uncomfortable about Trump filling his cabinet with generals had a point.  You have to know you are in serious trouble when the only thing protecting the entire country from utter catastrophe was Steve Fucking Bannon!

"Charlottesville is moment of truth for empowered U.S. Zionists (who name their children after Israeli generals)" (Weiss).  Violent racist supremacists never notice cognitive dissonance.  Weiss ruins a very strong column with a nonsense lite-Zionist concluding paragraph (Sanders, Friedman and Goldberg stepping away from Zionism!!!), proving he has the same problem as he criticizes.

"The Zionist Exception to the March for Racial Justice" (Larudee).

"A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand (Charlottesville 3)" (Roberts):
"The liberal/progressive/left are enjoying their drunkfest of denunciation. I can’t say I have ever witnessed anything like it.  These are the people who sat on their hands for 16 years while Washington destroyed in whole or part seven countries.  Not being satisfied with this level of warmongering and crimes against humanity, Washington orchestrated a conflict situation with Russia.  Americans elected a president who said he would defuse this dangerous conflict, and the liberal/progressive/left turned on him.  In contrast, one person is killed after the hated Charlottesville protest event was over, and there is endless absurd outrage against the president of the US.

Three New York Times presstitutes yesterday blamed the crisis on Trump, declaring him “increasingly isolated in a racial crisis of his own making.” Apparently, Trump is responsible for the crisis because he blamed both protest groups for the violence.

But isn’t that what happened?  Wasn’t there violence on both sides?  That was the impression I got from the news reporting.  I’m not surprised that Trump got the same impression.  Indeed, many readers have sent emails that they received the same impression of mutual violence.

So Trump is being damned for stating the truth."

If you see this as a conspiracy, the whole point of the exercise is to get Trump to say the 'wrong' thing, which they know he will because he hates the suggestion that he is a racist and thus refuses to cater to his critics by saying the politically correct thing.  Post-Bannon, he seems to have learned his lesson, with his ridiculously fawning tweets on Boston.

"REVEALED: An FBI probe, an IS plot, and a Welsh firm caught in the fallout".  It is easy to move money around using fake eBay sales.

"Spurned by Major Companies, The Daily Stormer Returns to the Web With Help From a Startup".  It was up (https://dailystormer.lol/, an appropriate top-level domain for it), but it is down again.  I guess I shouldn't remember the irony that one of the favorite memes there was a photo of an obviously Orthodox Jew on a cell phone, with the caption:  'The Goyim Know, Shut It Down'.  I'm torn between concluding Anglin is an intelligence asset or a comedian, but I guess he can be both.

"Anti-goyim headline by the Huffington Post".

"Bannon’s Time Is Up" (Stone, just before the Bannon announcement was made - it is impossible to know what Stone is up to, but we know some kind of trick is involved):
"Bannon has also failed to tell the President about the single most potent weapon he has; FISA Court certification that Obama’s NSA actively, illegally and unconstitutionally spied at least on 30,000 Americans for purposes of political espionage. These indictable offenses and their prosecution is the key to derailing the Deep State coup unfolding before our eyes, yet Bannon never mentioned the FISA ruling to the President."

"The Neocons Are Pushing the USA and the Rest of the World Towards a Dangerous Crisis" (The Saker).  We probably shouldn't lose sight of the fact that there are no doubt more scholars of ancient Cambodian temple architecture in the United States than there are true 'Nazis'.  The photos of the guys in Hitler haircuts with Roman salutes are always shot close in so as not to give away how few people are actually involved.

"The Clintons, Trump and White Backlash" (Urie).  Would have been a lot stronger without gratuitous slurs thrown at Trump (which seems these days to be a kind of virtue signalling to prove that the writer is indeed one of the 'smart' class worthy of being heeded), but still:
". . . neoliberalism has long been a subtext of White nationalism. If social outcomes reflect individual capabilities, goes the theory, then group social failures result from aggregated individual failures— from some ‘defect’ that characterizes individuals as members of that group. This is the theoretical basis of ‘scientific racism.’ Likewise, Daniel Patrick Moynihan’s ‘culture of illegitimacy’ erased three centuries of race-based social repression to frame the legacies of slavery and Jim Crow as Black moral failures.

The charitable explanation is that this sort of ‘rational’ racism is prescriptive— an effort to right existing circumstances, rather than descriptive as misstatement of actual social history. However, the temporal sleight-of-hand of historical erasure comes straight from capitalist theory. By the early 1990s Bill and Hillary Clinton were using this temporal flattening to conflate the neoliberal theory that markets create a society where individual capacities and effort are rewarded with their programs that exacerbated existing social divisions through class warfare."

and (on the curious racism inherent in identity politics; somebody needs to connect the politics of the 'smart' people and their 'meritocracy' with supremacism/American Exceptionalism):
"The difference between living in a flawed capitalist democracy and a relentlessly oppressive totalitarian shithole depends more the social space that one occupies than pre-modern social apologetics. The tautological conception of merit favored by national Democrats implies that Blacks suffer from institutional racism because of some deficiency inherent to Blackness. The American ruling class favors this tautology because it legitimates the concentration of wealth and power under the illusion of merit. Neoliberalism, the governing ethos of Washington, links three centuries of White nationalism to capitalism through this circular social apologetics."

"Anti-Israel pro-BDS profs organizing Antifa campus network".  Looks like yet another Israeli trick against BDS.  Of course, armies of paid thugs can be deployed however the paymaster wants.

"Pepe Escobar: And the winners in the post-Daesh era are… (updated)" and this comment by rehmat1:
"On August 7, 2017, Israel’s former foreign minister Shlomo Ben-Ari in an Op-Ed at the Project Syndicate Org. urged Washington to snatch Muslim Kurd majority territories from Turkey, Iraq, Syria and Iran to establish an Israel-friendly Kurdish state.

The Project Syndicate Org is funded by Jewish billionaire George Soro’s Open Society Institute and Danish Politiken Foundation which publishes country’s anti-Muslim daily Jyllands-Posten.

Currently, Ben-Avi is Vice President of the Toledo International Center for Peace (for Jews occupying Palestine).

After dishing the old Zionist mantra: A Land Without a People for a People Without a Land Ben Avi suggests in order to bring peace and stability in the Middle East, United States and its allies must help Kurds to have their own Kurdistan as they helped Jews to establish a Jewish state in Palestine in 1948.

Ben-Avi claims that Washington’s policy of a unified Iraq is not practical as country’s Shi’ite majority hates country’s Sunni, Kurd and Christian minorities.

“After 14 years of failed military intervention in Iraq, the US should recognize that a unified, stable, democratic, and federal Iraq is a chimera. Since the US-led invasion in 2003, Iraq’s political system has become highly polarized along sectarian lines, with the ruling Shia majority marginalizing the Sunnis, including the Kurds,” said Ben-Avi.

"Barcelona – The Hypocrisy of Sorrow" (Koenig):
"Let’s not forget, in the last year the Ram-Truck-Terror, now a convenient tool of horror, fear and killing, has hit Nice, France – 14 July 2016, Promenade des Anglais, 86 killed, almost 500 injured; Berlin, 19 December 2016, Christmas Market, 12 people dead, 56 injured; England twice, 22 March 2017, Westminster Bridge, 5 dead, more than 50 injured; London Bridge, June 2017, 7 dead; Stockholm, 8 April 2017, the city’s busiest shopping street – 4 died, 15 injured. And now Barcelona Spain.

The condolences of these leaders sound hollow and so hypocritical because they, the very leaders, are at the heart of the problem. If not the direct instigators of this simply patterned string of terror attacks, they are utterly complicit, allowing the strings being pulled on their secret services by order of the Master Global Deep State, whose goal it is to subdue Europe, to convert her into a police – military state, chaos, possibly civil war. A civil war not as bad as to curtail essential consumption. But civil strife all the same. Give corporate finance enough room to escalate their debt and profit spiral, but leave the populace poor enough to produce a Europe that is devoid of thinking; no time to reflect, no time to protest – as people will struggle for their sheer survival.

You don’t believe it? Look at Greece and elsewhere, what’s going on around you. Militarization slow motion. Macron is fully committed to it – and doesn’t shy from saying so. The French have understood, and Macron’s popularity has sunk from 66% after the “election” to less than 35% today. Never mind. He is there to stay for 5 years. The French Constitution says so. A (people’s) miracle would have to happen to remove him.

On another occasion, I have mentioned the sophisticated hundreds of millions of euros worth ghost town being built in a German military camp in Saxony-Althaus – for the very purpose of training urban warfare – just in case, you and your fellow protesters, when you can’t take it anymore, you may take to the streets and go on the barricades – that’s when the urban trained forces of power come in to oppress you, even kill you, if necessary. What you saw in Hamburg at the G20 Meeting in early July was just a benign precursor of what’s to come.

Yes, that’s what’s expecting us Europeans – the US is already there, they are always a few notches ahead of us, they are doing the trial run for us. – Barcelona is just a little stone in the mosaic, in the Big Picture of “Full Spectrum Dominance” – the ultimate goal of the PNAC (Plan for a new American Century) – the Washington’s and the Deep-Dark One-Eyed State’s Bible, written and periodically updated by the ultimate One-Eyed Anglo-Zionists on top of the echelon. We are almost there.

Why now Spain? – Spain has been spared of major terror attacks since the 11-M (11 March 2004) attack, when a few explosions at Madrid’s Atocha train station killed 192 people and injured over 2000, three days ahead of Presidential elections. This had nothing to do with Jihadism. Though the terror was immediately blamed on Al Qaeda, no proof was ever found. It was the work of the right-wing government under PP (Partido Popular) in power at the time, blaming the Socialist Party (PSOE), hoping to defeat it. It backfired. The socialists won and stayed in power for two terms, a total of 8 years. But in the second term neoliberal might descended also on the socialists in Spain, as it did and does everywhere in Europe. The Socialists became and still are to this day, traitors to the people.

Today, Spain, with a smooth Parliamentary coup in 2016 that went almost unnoticed, has quietly slipped back to the neoliberal Rajoy Government. So, Spain is supposed to be safe for the system. It also followed the strict rules of the IMF, today reaching 100% debt to GDP, up from about 66% before the neoliberal manufactured crisis hit Europe and the western world in 2007 / 2008.

That’s exactly what the system wants. Spain is ready for another economic collapse, orchestrated in connivance with her leadership. Ready for another round of rent taking – more privatization, pension and base salary cuts – the usual. Again, look at Greece and you see the pattern. Wall Street’s appetite is never satisfied. It’s the fraudulent dollar (and euro) economy we are enslaved to that makes this human tragedy possible – and people don’t seem to even notice who and what is behind the planned misery.

Spain is on track for further ‘milking’. So, why more suffering now? – Spain is an important NATO country with three naval and military bases. The majority of the population hates NATO, would like to get rid of it. What better way of convincing the people that the forces of NATO are useful defenders against Islamist attacks. Yes, weak and with fear you accept (almost) anything. Actually, you call for your hangman to protect you – in fact, it’s the collective Stockholm syndrome."

"Who Was Behind the Barcelona and Cambrils Attacks? Can We Trust the Official Reports? Update" (Chossudovsky):
"Driss’ ID was found near the attack in Barcelona.

What is important to point out is that in five previous terror attacks including Manchester, Berlin, Nice, London, New York, a passport or ID was found by the police authorities. In most cases the alleged suspect was known to the authorities.

Is there a pattern?  The ID papers of the suspect are often left behind, discovered by police in the wake of a terrorist attack.

Moreover, according to government and media reports pertaining these five previous cases, the suspects were without exception linked to an Al Qaeda affiliated entity.

None of these terror suspects survived. Dead men do not talk."
"The SAA, with Russian assistance, will become a motivated, well trained and equipped force capable of daring and imaginative combined arms operations. It will be regularly train with Iranian and Hezbollah units and will be a great source of ulcers among the Israeli Defense Force. When the Syrian Air Force eventually reaches maturity, those Israeli ulcers will bleed without stop. The political geography of the Mideast is about to change."

Gab

A trend.

Gab.  Quick perusal leads me to think it is very useful, with an aliveness has been knocked out of the general masses.

So:  "First Amendment in Peril?" and "Google explains why it banned the app for Gab, a right-wing Twitter rival" (btw, it is not a 'right-wing' Twitter rival, just a Twitter rival where people go who have been chased away by the snowflakes).

""This Is Dangerous": Digital Activists Slam Tech Firms For Banning Neo-Nazi Websites".

Nice website you got here - shame if anything were to happen to it.

The assassination/ressurection of Steve Bannon

"Ship Rudderless After Trump Drops Its Pilot" (Moon).  "Cohn Beats Bannon" (Aangirfan).

That is a truly chilling Jewish supremacist caption (not to mention unbelievably boastful and instructive of what is really going on), the exclamation that Wars For The Jews are back on the table.  Bannon was consistently blocking 'foreign entanglements'.  He saw them, correctly, as being the main impediment to MAGA (see Moon:  ""Grown-ups" Versus "Ideologues"? The Media Narrative of the White House May Be All Wrong").

There may be a ray of hope.  This appears to be a plan.  Bannon felt blocked in the White House, and the idea appears to be that he can better advance Trumpism by being an outside critic of the establishment figures, 'swamp' creatures, and Zionists that are dragging Trump down.

"Bannon Speaks: "I'm Going To War For Trump"".  Tweet (Mark Ames):
"Bannon & Breitbart could be more useful to Trump opposing him from the right, just as Trump laundered reputations of every DC hack failure"

From inside the White House, the whole Charlottesville thing must look like an elaborate, and successful, IC/Soros plot (a psych op), with the CIA running the 'Nazis', and Soros running the antifa (for those demanding proof of Soros involvement, this is why it is hard to come by:  "Here Is The NDA That George Soros Forced Professional Anarchist To Sign"), forcing Trump into a position that could be mocked by his opponents as fascist.  Inside the White house, Bannon was powerless to change the narrative.  Essentially, leaving the White House is an admission by Bannon that things are much worse than he thought, and change isn't possible from within.  What is extremely worrying is that the United States has lost this veto to quick calls for war, which we will now start seeing.

Clown alley

"EXCLUSIVE: Republican Congressman Meets With WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange" and "EXCLUSIVE: Rep. Rohrabacher Says Assange Could Be Pardoned For Info About DNC Leak Source".  Rohrabacher is one of those eccentric Republicans like Paul or Amash - there are absolutely no eccentric Democrats, who are all neolibs or disguised Republicans - whose politics is a bit unpredictable.  The obvious deal is that Assange gets out in return for proving the non-Russian origins of the material released by WikiLeaks, a fact which would be devastating to the Clintonista/warmonger narrative.  I wonder how Assange goes about proving this without disclosing his actual source(s).  It was a three hour meeting!

Assange.

"Steve Bannon, Unrepentant" (added:  if you believe all the timelines, Bannon gave this interview after he had submitted his resignation!):
"I asked Bannon about the connection between his program of economic nationalism and the ugly white nationalism epitomized by the racist violence in Charlottesville and Trump’s reluctance to condemn it. Bannon, after all, was the architect of the strategy of using Breitbart to heat up white nationalism and then rely on the radical right as Trump’s base.

He dismissed the far right as irrelevant and sidestepped his own role in cultivating it: “Ethno-nationalism—it's losers. It's a fringe element. I think the media plays it up too much, and we gotta help crush it, you know, uh, help crush it more.”

“These guys are a collection of clowns,” he added.

From his lips to Trump’s ear.

“The Democrats,” he said, “the longer they talk about identity politics, I got ’em. I want them to talk about racism every day. If the left is focused on race and identity, and we go with economic nationalism, we can crush the Democrats.”"

Clown alley.

Tweet (Stephen Miller):
"This isn't hard to figure out"

"Trump deepens appeal to fascist right with defense of Confederate monuments" (Martin).  Buying right into the Democrat echo chamber.  I'm surprised - the socialists are usually smarter than this.  No, Trump isn't planning to win with the support of the 0.1% of the electorate that are neo-Nazis.

"Burying the Lie of the “Alt-Left”".  Discussion at Naked Capitalism (which I guess is the start of the end of comments there!).  The thing that makes the silent majority/deplorables seethe is having the elites tell them not to believe their lyin' eyes as they have made some kind of high-end political science conceptual mistake.  The alt-right must have been fighting ghosts on the streets of Charlottesville.  Pretending the conspiracy angle doesn't exist, or using the clever debating techniques of 'smart' people, no longer works.  In fact, as Bannon so well knows, it backfires.  You can 'win' every debate you enter into, and lose every election.

The Democrats could say something like "Trump thinks x, and we think he's wrong, and here's why we suggest he's wrong", but they always do it so as to assert their moral superiority over both Trump and anybody who voted for him, or considered voting for him.  It always turns into a repeat of Killary's 'deplorables' speech. They can't seem to help themselves, and when Republicans who lost to Trump pile on in the same fashion, it looks even worse.

Debunk

'Debunking'.

"Armed Leftists in Charlottesville". Assault rifles. They seem to be rather forthright in attempting to keep it quiet.

Added:  "I Am Disabling Comments".

"Why Were The Police Held Back In Charlottesville?":
"As ProPublica reported, state police and National Guardsmen mostly stood aside and watched as the violence grew worse.

This appears to be a direct result of what appears to be a stand down order from higher-ups.

When the alt-right rally was mostly dispersed, police still seemed a missing presence in the city as the leftists kept demonstrating, some armed with aluminum bats and other weapons. This is the scene where the white nationalist drove his car through pedestrians, with police seemingly far away from the action.

That absence allowed for a female reporter who was an eyewitness to the intentional crash to be allegedly punched in the face by antifa. The reason: because she was press.

Curiously, this attack on a journalist hasn’t netted much attention.

The chaos seems like it could have been contained and fewer people hurt if police were a more active presence in Charlottesville.

Both sides of the rally have been critical of police inaction in the rally, putting blame on them for the out-of-control violence that occurred on Sunday."
"Stories Claiming DNC Hack Was 'Inside Job' Rely Heavily On A Stupid Conversion Error No 'Forensic Expert' Would Make".  The author is so oddly certain of himself and nasty to a large collection of real experts that I can only conclude Techdirt is just another dirt Clintonista front, and perhaps a dirt IC front.  See the comment by Richard Hack.  Scott Ritter has questions too, but is a lot more open minded.

and:
"Barker’s checkered history was noted by Jason Kessler, the right-wing blogger and founder of Unity and Security for America. Six days after Barker’s Klan group submitted its application, Kessler submitted his own application for an assembly in Lee Park, set to run from 12 to 5 p.m. Aug. 12.
In an email, Kessler called Barker “an FBI informant and multiple felon” and claimed that he was “being paid by left-wing groups to discredit legitimate conservatives.”
“Someone is trying to discredit my rally by bringing in this jackass,” Kessler wrote."

"'Unite the Right' organizer Jason Kessler ousted as provocateur Obama supporter from Occupy movement". "Unite the Right Protesters Hoodwinked by their Own Leader".

"Jason Kessler" (SPLC!):
"Kessler started his blog “Jason Kessler, American Author,” toward the end of 2015 and spent the majority of the next year dispensing mindset and lifestyle advice and promoting two books authored during a period of “worldwide travel.” The first is a book of poetry titled Midnight Road, and a second novel called Badland Blues about a “drunken dwarf,” who is “unlucky in love, looks or money.”
Rumors abound on white nationalist forums that Kessler’s ideological pedigree before 2016 was less than pure and seem to point to involvement in the Occupy movement and past support for President Obama.
At one recent speech in favor of Charlottesville’s status as a sanctuary city, Kessler live-streamed himself as an attendee questioned him and apologized for an undisclosed spat during Kessler’s apparent involvement with Occupy. Kessler appeared visibly perturbed by the woman’s presence and reminders of their past association."
This is amazingly over-the-top bat-shit crazy, an indication that this is where the Clintonistas are going to take their stand (see also "Bushes, Obama, Clinton weigh in on Charlottesville"):  "The House Is On Fire – Accepting the Truth of the Trump Revolution" (read down to "Copernican vs Ptolemaic models of the solar system"!!!):
"This is Trump, a man whose deepest political impulses are tied to racial grievance and a desire for revenge, a desire to place the deserving and white back at the top of the racial hierarchy. People get caught up on whether or not people are willing to call Trump a ‘racist’. Of course, he’s a racist. But that doesn’t tell us enough. Lots of people dislike blacks or Jews, don’t want to live near them, etc. But many, likely most with racist attitudes, do not embrace a politics driven by racial grievance. Trump’s politics are about racial grievance. It’s not latent or peripheral but rather central. That’s different and it’s worse. It is one of the few consistent themes in his politics going back many, many years."

"CONSPIRACY OR CHAOS?"

"Cloudflare CEO on Terminating Service to Neo-Nazi Site: 'The Daily Stormer Are Assholes'" (also).  The simultaneous big corporate attack on The Daily Stormer is extremely interesting, as it brings two issues to light.  First, all these companies are engaged in supplying services of public necessity, are effectively monopolies, and should be nationalized, or at least heavily regulated as public utilities.  Whatever you think of The Daily Stormer or the decision, having 0.1%-ers unilaterally decide what you can read is obviously wrong and dangerous.  This is what real fascism looks like.  Secondly, driving The Daily Stormer to the dark web is a curious decision, as the business model of all these companies consists in harvesting our internet data, and if enough of us start using, say, Tor (where you only give your data to the CIA!), and fall outside their grasp, they are going to have big problems.

"Californian Who Helped Lead Charlottesville Protests Used Berkeley as a Test Run":
"He would serve two deployments in Iraq in the infantry. It was on these tours that Damigo’s views on race began to be shaped by the violent conflict he saw on a daily basis — killings, murders, explosions and misery.

“I saw them in Iraq, which is also a multireligious, multicultural society,” Damigo said. “And I generally saw it growing up. And it was certainly a more extreme form, but it definitely, I think, it did make me think a bit more about race and population dynamics.”

The violence that began to shape Damigo’s thinking on race also killed two of his close friends in combat. According to court documents obtained by El Tecolote and KQED, Damigo began suffering acute symptoms of PTSD as a result of his exposure to the Iraq War.

Damigo blames that trauma for his decision to rob a San Diego cab driver at gunpoint after his return from Iraq.

During a psychological evaluation conducted for the court as part of the criminal case, Damigo said he attacked the cab driver, Changiz Ezzatyar, because he mistook him for an Iraqi. Damigo said the decision came after a night of solitary heavy drinking."

When the Maiden comes to America (color revolution blowback):  "The Story of Charlottesville was Written in Blood in the Ukraine" (Baraka):
"What is the character of racist right-wing politics today? Is it the crazed white supremacist who plows into an anti-fascist demonstration in Charlottesville, VA or can it also be the assurance by Lindsay Graham that an attack against North Korea would result in thousands of lives lost…. but those lives will be “over there”? What about the recent unanimous resolution by both houses of Congress in support of Israel and criticism of the United Nations for its alleged anti-Israeli bias? Would that qualify as racist and right-wing, since it appears that the ongoing suffering of the Palestinians is of no concern? And what about the vote by the U.S. House of Representatives to go even beyond the obscene proposal of the Trump administration to increase the military budget by $54 billion dollars and instead add a whopping $74 billion to the Pentagon budget?

What I find interesting about the current discussion around what many are referring to as the emboldening of the radical white supremacist right is how easy it is to mobilize opposition against the crude and overt white supremacists we saw in Charlottesville. So easy, in fact, that it’s really a distraction from the more difficult and dangerous work that needs to be done to confront the real right-wing power brokers.

The white supremacy that some of us see as more insidious is not reflected in the simple, stereotypical images of the angry, Nazi-saluting alt-righter or even Donald Trump. Instead, it is the normalized and thus invisible white supremacist ideology inculcated into cultural and educational institutions and the policies that stem from those ideas. That process doesn’t just produce the storm troopers of the armed and crazed radical right but also such covert true believers as Robert Ruben from Goldman Sachs, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Tony Blair and Nancy Pelosi – “decent” individuals who have never questioned for a moment the superiority of Western civilization, who believe completely in the White West’s right and responsibility to determine which nations should have sovereignty and who should be the leaders of “lesser” nations. And who believe that there is no alternative to the wonders of global capitalism even if it means that billions of human beings are consigned permanently to what Fanon called the “zone of non-being.”"

Moral superiority

"Report: ‘Unite the Right’ Organizer Jason Kessler Was Obama Supporter Involved With Occupy Movement".

"Charlottesville Postmortem: This Was Not an Isolated Event, It Was an Extremist Reaction." The Nazi stuff does come off as a prearranged set piece for television.

"Racial supremacy and the Zionist exception" (Weiss).  "Israel's Chorus Sings Again" (Giraldi).  They only get one month off all summer and they have to spend it kissing ass!

"Charlottesville protests and the ‘Car Terror’" (Rehmat)!

"Charlottesville: What You Wish Upon Others, You Wish Upon Yourself" (Moon).

 "The Battle of Charlottesville?":
"But for those of us who are NOT sophists and understand Nazism as Germany’s particular expression of fascism, we recognize that there is a seamless continuity between Bush, Clinton, Baby Bush, Obama and the White House’s current occupant.

Was Obama’s failure to prosecute a single police officer for the murders of black and brown people that occurred on his watch some kind of testament to liberal democracy?

That wasn’t Obama who showered billions of dollars on the very bankers who defrauded black Americans of more wealth than at any time since the emancipation proclamation?  Who declared the Palestinians “un-people” and campaigned aggressively against their sovereignty at the UN?  Allowed Baby Doc to run for president but not Aristide?  Installed, LITERALLY, Nazis as the rulers of Ukraine?

As for Trump’s singular moral failings, was it Trump who was told by his own state department that if he sold skin-melting white phosphorous to Saudi Arabia, they would use it on Yemeni women and children, and responded by saying, in effect; “And your point?”

Or what about that amusing little war he started in Africa’s most prosperous country at the behest of Goldman Sachs, in which “white” Africans lynched “black” Africans from light poles, like rednecks in the Jim Crow South?"

These un-rare moments when American liberals are particularly full of themselves, confident in their moral superiority, and comfortable in their exceptionalist skins are particularly enlightening (the classic still being 'We came, we saw, he died' Killary's 'Deplorables' speech).  It is all part of The Clarification.

"Charlottesville" (Roberts):
"Charlottesville has many aspects that are ignored by NPR and the rest of the presstitutes. For example, how does the Bush/Cheney/Obama/neoconservative assertion that Americans are the “exceptional people” whose country is the “indispensable country” differ from Trump’s proclamation of “America first”? No one among the liberal/progressive/left was disturbed when Obama proclaimed to the world that Americans are the exceptional, indispensable people. Doesn’t Obama use much clearer language that puts America first? If Americans are exceptional, everyone else is unexceptional. If Americans are indispensable, everyone else is dispensable."

Trump's second speech. Also.

Note how Lang's way of thinking here is a particularly vile example of American assumptions, this time from the 'realist right':  "Guam rejoices!". The problem is bipartisan and extremely deep-seated.

Curious how Charlottesville is just an American Exceptionalist sideshow, while at the exact same time the rest of the world digs itself out from the effects of  American Exceptionalism:  "Hezbollah and Syrian Army Finishing off Terrorists of Al-Nusra".  "What’s Really Happening in #Venezuela – From Someone Who Knows". "Turkey Reversing on Syria – Will End of Support for Syrian Rebels as ‘Goodwill Towards Damascus’" (wow!).  "Oh, the US Department of State's Annual Report on Religious Freedom found this evidence of anti-Semitism in Syria"!  "Yes, Syrian refugees can return to Aleppo… and do so in their 100,000s".  "Recolonization Rears Its Ugly Head" (Madsen).

"What CIA Hid from the Rockefeller Committee".  It never fucking ends:  "Jerusalem Post lies about Russia and Iran" (Alexis).  "U.S. envoy says Iran cannot 'hold world hostage' with nuclear deal" (this isn't even slightly coherent!).

"How War Pollutes the Potomac River" (Swanson).  Funny how you almost never see this most obvious point:  "War Not Only Kills People: It’s the Single Biggest Destroyer of the Environment".

"Leaked Emails: Saudi Power Behind the Throne “Wants Out of Yemen”".  Note all the sleazy players involved in this 'leak'!

"Is this the beginning of the end for Canada’s Rebel Media?: Tim Harper". I have to note that the following two pieces are Onion-style satire: "Ezra Levant confident riled up, far-right mob won’t turn against Jews this time" (prescient!) and "After years of race-baiting rhetoric and Islamophobia, I was beginning to suspect the Rebel might be racist" (inspired, perhaps, by the classic from pre-Haim days).

"Liberating Europe from Russian Gas" (Leupp) (my emphasis in red; it is rare to see them misuse their propaganda bluster quite so blatantly):
"The concept, as articulated by Sen. John McCain and Sen. John Hoeven in a 2014 Wall Street Journal op-ed, is to “liberate our allies from Russia’s stranglehold on the European natural-gas market.” But as the Washington Post has observed, “The problem is that Europeans don’t necessarily want to be liberated. Russian gas is much cheaper than American LNG, and could become even cheaper to undercut the United States if it entered the European market. American LNG suppliers prioritize their own profits over America’s strategic advantage anyway, and are likely to want to target more lucrative markets than Europe, such as Japan. Finally, the Russian gas supply is likely to be more reliable than the United States’, since it involves predictable long-term contracts, whereas U.S. production capacity rises and falls, as it becomes cheaper and more expensive to extract American unconventional hydrocarbons.”

The McCain-Hoeven piece was of course written before there was any talk about Russian “election meddling.” But that issue was used to justify the sanctions bill. That, plus miscellaneous Russian actions, basically in response to U.S. actions (as in Ukraine, where—as everyone should know—Hillary Clinton’s crony Victoria Newland helped organize a putsch in February 2014, designed to pull Ukraine into NATO, although that effort has failed and anyway lacks German support)."

"On Charlottesville" (West).  The really big picture.

"Trump Isn’t Going to Invade Venezuela, But What US is Planning Could Be Much Worse" (Korybko).  Applying the techniques used in Syria to Venezuela.

"What’s Really Going on In Venezuela" (Studebaker):
"In a different world, Venezuela might not face this kind of choice. In a different world, the international community might be willing to help Venezuela diversify its economy without making it accept a massive decline in living standards for its poor and working people. But we don’t have the international institutions to live in that world. Most of the time, we leave countries more or less on their own, offering help only if those countries agree to adopt an economic system focused around pleasing international investors. If they’re not willing to do that, we’re willing to let their people starve to death. It’s a cruel system."

"Liz Sly exploits the Nazi riot in Charlottesville for propaganda purposes"(Angry Arab).  Yinon never misses a trick.

Theory and praxis

Theory:  from the memo that got Rich Higgins fired:  "POTUS & POLITICAL WARFARE" (with the removal of the Islamic stuff, and a lot of editing, this wouldn't sound so addled):
"This is not politics as usual but rather political warfare at an unprecedented level that is openly engaged
in the direct targeting of a seated president through manipulation of the news cycle. It must be
recognized on its own terms so that immediate action can be taken. At its core, these campaigns run on
multiple lines of effort, serve as the non-violent line of effort of a wider movement, and execute political
warfare agendas that reflect cultural Marxist outcomes. The campaigns operate through narratives.
Because the hard left is aligned with lslamist organizations at local (ANTI FA working with Muslim
Brotherhood doing business as MSA and CAIR), national (ACLU and BLM working with CAIR and MPAC)
and international levels (OIC working with OSCE and the UN), recognition must given to the fact that
they seamlessly interoperate at the narrative level as well. In candidate Trump, the opposition saw a
threat to the "politically correct" enforcement narratives they've meticulously laid in over the past few
decades. In President Trump, they see a latent threat to continue that effort to ruinous effect and their
retaliatory response reflects this fear.
"
and:
"As used here, "political warfare" does not concern activities associated with the American political process but rather exclusively refers to political warfare as understood by the Maoist Insurgency model. 2 Political warfare is one of the five components of a Maoist insurgency. Maoist methodologies employ synchronized violent and non-violent actions that focus on mobilization of individuals and groups to action. This approach envisions the direct use of non-violent operational arts and tactics as elements of combat power. In Maoist insurgencies, the formation of a counter-state is essential to seizing state power. Functioning as a hostile competing state acting within an existing state, it has an alternate infrastructure. Political warfare operates as one of the activities of the "counter-state" and is primarily focused on the resourcing and mobilization of the counter state or the exhaustion and demobilization of the targeted political movement. Political warfare methods can be implemented at strategic, operational, or tactical levels of operation. Political warfare is warfare. Strategic information campaigns designed to delegitimize through disinformation arise out of non-violent lines of effort in political warfare regimes. They principally operate through narratives. Because the left is aligned with lslamist organizations at local, national and international levels, recognition should be given to the fact that they seamlessly interoperate through coordinated synchronized interactive narratives. "
and (my emphasis in red):
"That post-modern (diversity/multiculturalism) narratives seeks to implement cultural Marxist objectives can be demonstrated by reference to founding Frankfurt School theorist Herbert Marcuse's repurposing of the term tolerance. In a 1965 paper Marcuse defined tolerance as intolerance; said it can be implemented through undemocratic means to stop chauvinism (xenophobia), racism, discrimination; and should be extended to the left while denied to the right . . . ."
and:
"As cultural Marxist narratives intensify, they are to be further operationalized in the form of hate speech narratives. Hate speech narratives are non-random, coordinated, and fully interoperable escalations of cultural Marxist memes. Key international players include the European Union, the UN, and the OSCE, the OIC and the International Muslim Brotherhood. Hate speech memes are structured, coordinated, and implemented through these same international forums. They involve close coordination with media and social media and include the Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) narratives."
Praxis:  "Charlottesville Police Called Off When Violence Began: “We’re Leaving, It’s Too Dangerous”":
"Of note, “Unite the Right” held a rally which was legally organized with a permit from the city, as it is their first amendment right to do so, and Antifa showed up with cement-filled cans and other weapons with plans to violently protest the event – creating a dangerous atmosphere police did nothing to control.

The ACLU confirmed that Charlottesville police were ordered to stand down, which allowed the KKK and Antifa to meet face to face with no interference."
and:
"Some have suggested that the violent atmosphere and lack of police presence was a factor in the decision and ability of 20 year old white supremacist James Alex Fields to drive his 2010 Dodge Challenger into a crowd of counter-protesters, killing 32 year old paralegal Heather Heyer and injuring dozens of others."
So:
  1. legal right-wing rally, called 'hate speech' by media;
  2. Antifa shows up with weapons and ready for a fight;
  3. police disappear;
  4. violence occurs, which the media blames on the 'hate speech' rally attendees, and, by extension, on Trump.
Somebody named George is hard at work on a new textbook of practical revolutionary politics.

Charlottesville

Had the murder not occurred in Charlottesville, the white nationalists would have been able to depict the weekend as a great victory for their ideology, the only issue being that the authorities attempted to deprive them of their constitutional rights.  As it is, the weekend was a big victory for Soros and his crew.  So, who talked the moron - another three-named 'Jr' - into his car stunt?  Just what good for his cause did he think could come of this?

"Has Narenda Modi Switched Sides?" (Engdahl).  Modi went destructively anti-Indian right after he met with Bibi!  Sounds like India will be the fodder for another proxy war:
"Has Narenda Modi actually switched sides from a genuine supporter of peaceful resolution of Indo-Pakistani and Indo-Chinese border disputes in a spirit of good-willed collaboration within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, or was he Janus-faced in terms of his allegiances from the 2014 onset of his tenure as prime Minister, a kind of Anglo-American-Israeli Trojan Horse sent to sabotage China’s promotion of the Eurasian new Economic Silk Road? The answer is not yet known at least not by this author. However, a well-placed Indian source with close ties to the Indian military forces noted to me in a recent private correspondence that shortly following Trump’s election in November last year, a senior US intelligence adviser to the Trump circles stated bluntly that there would not be a war between USA and China, but rather there would be a war between India and China across the Himalayas. That was in November at a time Doklam was completely quiet."

Defense of Damore by the Ur-snowflake:  "Why Google was wrong: Did James Damore really deserve to be fired for what he wrote?"  I did not see that coming!  It emphasizes the cleverness with which the memo was written.  It is a 'trigger' with no bullet in the chamber.

We can never forget that people like Lang are, fundamentally, insane American Exceptionalists, a trait that The Clarification has demonstrated he shares with almost everybody on the American 'Left', including much of the alt-Left. Contradictions

"Conspiracies Pushed by Atlantic’s Editor Excluded From Atlantic’s Denunciation of Conspiracy Theories".  I'm still wondering whether the new ownership has policies on employing concentration camp guards.

"Bomb threat suspect in Israel offered services on dark web - U.S. authorities".  This seems to be an effort to make him look less Mossad.

"Turkey bombs Tel Abyad border gate after visit of US delegation to northern Syria".  Aiming at Americans.

"The Kurdish Connection: Israel, ISIS And U.S. Efforts To Destabilize Iran".  "The Kurds: Washington’s Weapon Of Mass Destabilization In The Middle East".  This is Iranian propaganda, but there is quite a bit of truth in it.  There are strong contradictions in Kurdish nationalism, largely directed through Zionist influence.  The good news is that the Turks are going to force the Syrian Kurds to choose wisely.

"CALM DOWN: We're not even close to nuclear war with North Korea".  We're still in the sweet spot where angry rhetoric serves all sides better than war.

"The Real Reason Washington is Worried about North Korea".  The deterrence of being able to strike back against an illegal American attack, something that Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, etc., etc., etc., all, sadly, lacked.  Escobar:  "Pyongyang’s nuclear arsenal represents the deterrent against regime change that Saddam Hussein and Gaddafi could not count on."

"#FireMcMaster, explained".  This is odd:  "Fire McMaster" (Raimondo).  "An NSC Staffer Is Forced Out Over a Controversial Memo".  "Ex-Breitbart staffer booted from National Security Council as far-right nationalists lose influence". Contradictions within both Zionism and Bannonism are being clarified by Trumpism.

"These two developments are part of a larger battle between McMaster and Bannon, who fundamentally disagree on a number of key issues, including at least two with a direct connection to Israel: the re-location of the American embassy to Jerusalem (Bannon supported the idea, McMaster and the NSC warned against it), and the Iran nuclear deal, which Bannon and his supporters pushed the president to scrap, against the advice of McMaster and other senior administration officials who urged Trump to keep it. For the time being, McMaster has won both battles."

The main contradictions of Bannonism (which perhaps should be called Mercerism), which will keep popping up, are that 1) Bannon pretends to be a MAGA isolationist while maintaining a warmongering attitude towards both China and Iran (but not Russia as it is thought to be a 'white'/Christian outpost of civilization), and 2) his extreme anti-immigration stance, which could be MAGA (in a twisted way), is tainted with a strong irrational Islamophobia which comes right out of the extremes of the alt-right, and of course is fostered with considerable effort and money by Zionists like Gaffney.
